Following closely on last issue came busy times for the school; the Sydney Senior and the school examinations, followed by the trip of the cricketers, rowers and tennis players to Maryborough.
In the Senior last year the candidates, who sat from the school, did exceedingly well, twelve out of fourteen passing, and Byth in particular distinguishing himself.
The School's representatives to Maryborough had great success, each team winning in its department of sport. The tennis team secured the honour of winning the first tennis match played between the two schools. While the teams were in Maryborough, a 100 yards race was run off between A. D. Forbes and a Maryborough representative, and in the second running of the race Forbes succeeded in winning. This was one of the events for the Chelmsford Cup, which was won by the school last year — the Challenge Cup, presented by Lord Chelmsford to the Grammar School which has the supremacy in Sport, last year being the first year of the competition.
The President for 1907–08 was Mr. F. Reimers. At the 1908 Annual General Meeting Mr. P. J. O'Shea was elected President for 1908–09. The Association continued its Foundation Day reunions and support of School sport.

No award. The Reginald Heber Roe Memorial Bursary had not yet been founded (first award 1933).

In this era, an Old Boy's year designation was the year he entered Grammar; the convention today is the year he finished. A boy who started in 1993 and finished in 1997 was (93) but is now '97.
