The 1999 School Magazine

By 1999 the Association's full record (President's report, office-bearers, committee, member news) is published in the quarterly Old School Ties, not in the School Magazine. The Magazine this year carries:

• A reference to the Executive Director of the Old Boys' Association, Mr. Brian Glance.
• The Foundation Day awards (above), which the OBA administers.

No OBA office-bearers list or President's message appears in the 1999 Magazine. The President in the Centenary year (1998) was Ian Whittle (63); his successor for 1999 onward is not recorded here. (The 1999–2018 stretch of the Presidents roll remains a gap to be closed from Old School Ties, the OBA minutes, or the School's Past Presidents honour board.)

• Vice-Captain: Michael Mantle (and prefects Stewart Foote, Khilen Devani, Brendan Louie)

• Nick Brown — School Captain in 1997; pictured among the Duke of Edinburgh Gold Award recipients at Government House, May 1999.
• Robert Shand — the 1998 School Captain; won the A. S. Roe Scholarship in 1999.
