Since our last issue Father Time has swept us all through the Midsummer holidays into the fourth month of another year. Already we are speculating on the probability of success in the Sydney Junior Examination, and a certain large section of the school has launched itself heart and soul into football, and is dreaming of the premierships, which it should be their lot to win during the coming season.
From a scholastic point of view, the school has been as successful as usual since our last publication. We are glad to be able to congratulate five candidates on passing the Senior Public Examination, especially H. S. Walsh, who succeeded in winning a Queensland Exhibition, and a College Scholarship tenable at St. John's College, Sydney.
In the athletic arena, we can claim many honours for the school. The First Eleven defeated Ipswich Grammar School twice and Maryborough G.S. once — victories which recompensed the team.
The President for 1906–07 was Mr. C. W. Costin. At the 1907 Annual General Meeting Mr. F. Reimers was elected President for 1907–08. The Association continued its reunions and support of the School.

No award. The Reginald Heber Roe Memorial Bursary had not yet been founded (first award 1933).

In this era, an Old Boy's year designation was the year he entered Grammar; the convention today is the year he finished. A boy who started in 1993 and finished in 1997 was (93) but is now '97.
